Happy New Year

Happy New Year to you! I welcome in this new year with open arms. It is time to do another ceremony of releasing the past and opening to the present.
We have a full moon today~ to spur you on with its lovely presence. We also are experiencing the high voltage energy of the end of our calendar year for 2012 on Monday.
For the end of the year ceremony, journal writing is in order.
First reflect on 2012. You may take one month at a time or one season at a time. Before you start to write be sure to settle yourself into a non-judgmental, self loving, open minded energy. This reflective writing is to be the most free flowing, wisdom gathering experience you have ever had. It is not a time to chastise or berate yourself. Be very clear about that!
Next let your heart guide you to whatever is important for you to reflect on. Be sure you are letting your heart guide you and not your mind. Your heart will surprise you as to what is and is not important to reflect on. For example, your mind might say, let's reflect on the "big" things that happened, like moving or starting a business. Your heart however will guide you to reflect on experiences like the time you took a drive to the mountains and saw three eagles along the way. Listen to what your heart wants you to reflect on. This is where the juicy stuff is.
After you have spent some time writing and reflecting, pick a theme for 2013. What do you want 2013 to be about? Where has your reflective time led you? What is your heart wanting more of? What is truly important to YOU at this time?
From your theme, you may then create goals or aspirations for 2013. As long as they follow the directive of your heart!
Have fun with this writing and enjoy the celebration of the end of an era and the beginning of a new time. A time of creation, new beginnings, expansion, joy, freedom, and more love.
Many blessings,
Mary
